WBG Pioneer - Communications Intern

Background/Organizational Context The World Bank Group (WBG) Bolivia Country Office (CO) and local Communications and External Relations (CER) team are rapidly expanding the technical and operational support to been support to improve client’s strategic communications within the existing and pipeline WBG portfolio of Bank, IFC and MIGA operations in Bolivia. Within this context, additional support is needed to continue the production and distribution of routine external and internal communications products, periodic external events, and maintaining communications databases and maps. Duties and Responsibilities The Intern will provide support to the External Affairs Analyst and Bolivia CO Front Office in the • Curating daily news summaries for internal consumption • Production of, and running subscription campaigns for, the bimonthly Bolivia CO external newsletter, Conexiones • Preparation of Bolivia-specific contributions to the WBG Country Management Unit (LC6) internal communications products • Periodic WBG event planning and execution • Updating journalist database and influencer map.
