Social & Behavior Change Officer, NO-2, Temporary Position, 11 months, #00137934, Nampula Zone Office, Republic of Mozambique (Open only to the nationals of Republic of Mozambique)

UNICEF Mozambique is seeking a qualified and motivated Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) Officer, NO-B, based in Nampula, to support the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of evidence-based SBC strategies that improve outcomes for children and communities. Reporting to the Chief of Field Office and working closely with the national SBC team, the incumbent will generate and apply research and behavioural evidence, strengthen community engagement, coordinate with government and development partners, mobilize resources, and build the capacity of staff and counterparts to promote sustainable behaviour and social change across development and humanitarian contexts. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to UNICEF's mission of advancing children's rights through innovative, data-driven programming and collaborative partnerships.
