Invitation to Apply

World Vision Georgia Abkhazia Program invites qualified Individual Consultants to apply for the facilitation of structured Reflective Wellbeing, Resilience and Peer Support sessions during the final capacity building workshop for four partner civil society organisations (CSOs) under the European Union-funded “Building Resilient Communities in Abkhazia” project, implemented in consortium with Action Against Hunger and Danish Refugee Council.

Scope of Work

After two years of demanding implementation, workshop participants need space to pause, release stress and reconnect as peers. The consultant will design and lead sessions that may include team-building games, informal peer support circles, stress management practices and mediation sessions, applying gender-sensitive and gender-responsive approaches throughout. Key deliverables:

  • Sessions facilitation plan and session materials, submitted prior to the workshop;
  • Facilitation of two 2-hour sessions within the workshop agenda (remotely, in Russian);
  • Consultancy Report using the provided template, covering achievements, challenges and recommendations for continued CSO capacity development.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in facilitating capacity building events for CSOs or similar civil society actors;
  • Experience designing and delivering participatory training and reflective learning methodologies;
  • Relevant university degree (social sciences, development studies, education or similar);
  • Good oral communication skills in Russian; English is a significant asset;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexibility and emotional maturity;
  • Proficiency in producing professional, well-structured documents;
  • Demonstrated awareness and application of Child Protection and Gender mainstreaming principles.

Timeframe

The consultancy will take place in November 2026, for a total of two (2) working days:

  • Development of workshop materials and session plans - 0.5 day - Home-based
  • Delivery of two remote workshop sessions (November 7–8, 2026; 2 hrs each) - 1 day - Home-based (Zoom or similar)
  • Development of Consultancy Report with recommendations - 0.5 day - Home-based

Budget

The consultancy operates on a lump-sum basis. All costs, including professional fees and applicable taxes, must be covered within the lump sum, and a detailed budget breakdown must be included in the offer. Payment will be made upon satisfactory completion of all deliverables and acceptance of the Consultancy Report.

Evaluation Criteria

Applications will be evaluated at World Vision's discretion. Criteria include, but are not limited to: quality, reputation and performance in providing the services; relevant previous experience; thoroughness of the information provided; competitive pricing with demonstrated capacity to deliver; and ability to deliver within the agreed timeframe. Technical and financial proposals will be evaluated separately, and the contract will be awarded to the least-cost technically acceptable proposal.
