Land the first interview.

In development hiring, everyone looks identical on paper. A short, role-specific video is the pattern-interrupt that makes a hiring manager remember you — and want to meet you. Record ninety seconds, share one link, and see when they watch.

The problem

On paper, everyone looks the same.

UN, NGO and development hiring runs on paperwork — CVs, Personal History Profiles, P11s, competency forms. A hiring manager opens hundreds of near-identical PDFs and skims. Nothing on the page tells them who they'd actually want in the room.

You did everything right and still vanished into the stack. The problem isn't your experience — it's that the format flattens every candidate into the same grey rectangle. A short video is the one thing that breaks the pattern.

How it works

Paste the job. Record. Share the link.

Three steps, ten minutes, no editing. Built for the way development roles are actually advertised and staffed.

  1. 01

    Target the role

Paste the job ad. The AI reads what the panel is actually looking for and drafts your talking points — the two or three things worth saying for this post, not a generic pitch.

  2. 02

    Record 90 seconds

One take from your laptop webcam, with a teleprompter running your script so you look at the camera and just talk. No editing suite, no second crew — press record.

  3. 03

    Share & see them watch

You get a clean link to paste straight into the application. It opens with no login on any device — and when the hiring manager presses play, you're told.

See it land

The part nobody else gives you.

You paste a link into an application and normally hear nothing for weeks. Here, the moment the hiring manager opens your video, you're told.

It changes how the wait feels. Instead of guessing into the void, you know your video reached a real person and held their attention — a signal no CV upload has ever given you, and a genuine reason to follow up with confidence.

The recruiter's view

What the hiring manager sees.

No account, no friction, no hunting for a plug-in. Just your name, the exact role, and you — one click from your full portfolio.

  • Opens instantly

No account, no app, no sign-up — the link just plays.

  • Any device

Works the same on a phone between meetings as on a laptop.

  • Your name and the role, up top

They know exactly who this is and which post it's for.

  • One click to your portfolio

Projects, outcomes and experience are right there when they want more.

  • Private by default

No trace for anyone you didn't send the link to; never indexed.

Why it works

Ninety seconds does what a page can't.

It shows the things a PDF only claims

Every job ad asks for communication and working English or French. On paper you assert it. On camera you demonstrate it — clearly, in ninety seconds, before the interview.

Presence a form can't carry

Warmth, energy, the sense of someone you'd want in the room during a crisis. Panels shortlist people they can already picture at the table.

Proof you tailored it

A role-specific video is unmistakable effort. It says you read the post and recorded for this one — the opposite of the mass-applied PHP in the pile.

You become the memorable one

In the debrief, panels remember faces and voices, not bullet points. A short video makes you the candidate someone argues to bring in.

Questions

Straight answers about video applications.

How long can a video application be?

Up to about ninety seconds, recorded in one take. The cap is deliberate: long enough to say who you are and why this role, short enough that a busy hiring manager actually presses play and watches to the end.

Does the recruiter need an account to watch?

No. You send a link and it opens instantly in any browser, on a laptop or a phone — no login, no app, no sign-up. Nothing stands between the hiring manager and pressing play.

Is my link private?

Yes. Each application gets its own long, unguessable link, and the page is never indexed by search engines. Only the people you send it to can find it, and you can retire a link at any time.

How many video applications do I get?

Twenty-five a year on Premium — enough to record a fresh, role-specific video for every job you seriously want, each one backed by your full changemaker portfolio.

Can I re-record?

As many times as you like. If a take doesn't feel right, record another; replacing the video behind a link is one click, and the link you already shared keeps working.

Do I need special equipment?

No. Your laptop webcam is enough. We draft your talking points from the job ad and run a built-in teleprompter, so you can look straight at the camera and simply talk.
