Our organization collaborates with partners and key stakeholders to implement projects that facilitate access to primary and secondary-level healthcare services to respond to the medical needs of displaced population.

Based in Istanbul, Digital Fundraising and Communications Officer will be directly supervised by the Deputy Operations Director

EXPECTED PROFILE

Knowledge & Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Fundraising, Business Administration, Journalism, International Relations, or a related field.

Experience

· Minimum 3 years of professional experience in digital fundraising, digital marketing, communications, e-commerce, or donor acquisition.

· Demonstrated experience managing websites, social media platforms, and digital engagement tools.

· Experience developing content for fundraising, marketing, or public engagement purposes.

· Experience using digital performance data and audience insights to improve results.

· Experience working with email marketing, newsletters, CRM systems, SMS outreach tools, or online fundraising platforms is an asset.

· Experience within the non-profit, humanitarian, or development sector is desirable

Languages

· Excellent written and spoken Turkish. · Arabic and/or English are considered strong assets.

IT & Equipment

· Good proficiency with Microsoft package

· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);

· Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effective time management;

· Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professional integrity;

· Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment;

· Commitment to DDD Code of Conduct and humanitarian principles;

Essential Duties

· Develop and implement DDD's digital acquisition strategy.

· Increase fundraising revenue through the acquisition and retention of new donors and supporters via digital channels.

· Expand DDD's digital reach, donor base, and supporter engagement.

· Identify and test innovative approaches, tools, and channels that contribute to donor and revenue growth.

· Lead content development for DDD digital channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Responsibilities

Function details

Digital Fundraising and Donor Acquisition

· Contribute to the development and implementation of DDD's individual giving and digital fundraising strategies.

· Generate new donor leads and convert supporters into donors through digital engagement activities.

· Design and optimize donor acquisition offers, donation journeys, and online giving experiences.

· Monitor fundraising performance and make recommendations to improve results based on data and audience insights.

· Maintain an understanding of emerging digital fundraising trends, tools, and best practices.

Website and Digital Platforms

· Manage and develop DDD's website as a key fundraising and donor engagement platform.

· Maintain and update website content, donation pages, and landing pages.

· Develop new online fundraising initiatives and giving opportunities through DDD's digital platforms.

· Optimize website user experience.

· Coordinate with external providers and developers as required.

Communications and Content Development

· Develop content that supports donor acquisition, fundraising, visibility, and supporter engagement objectives.

· Produce and coordinate written, graphic, photographic, and video content for digital and print publications.

· Maintain an annual calendar of international and health-related days relevant to DDD's mission and develop timely content and fundraising hooks around them in coordination with program teams.

· Work with program teams to collect field stories, photos, videos, and impact data for donor communications, newsletters, promotional materials, and fundraising content.

· Ensure compliance with DDD branding, messaging, and visibility guidelines, including consent and data protection.

· Manage the archiving and structuring of the DDD communications Sharepoint.

Social Media and Digital Visibility

· Manage DDD's social media presence, including Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, and other relevant platforms for newsletters and SMS campaigns.

· Develop and implement visibility initiatives that increase audience reach and supporter engagement.

· Create, schedule, publish, and monitor content across digital channels, and recommend improvements.

Monitoring and Reporting

· Track and report on donor acquisition, fundraising revenue, audience growth, website performance, and digital engagement.

· Analyse fundraising and digital performance data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

· Produce regular reports and recommendations for management.

Reporting

· Provide regular reporting on your activities to your Line-Manager upon his/her solicitation;

· Provide your line-manager with a Handover Report at the end of your contract
