The education sector faces increasing disruptions due to disasters, climate change, and conflicts. To ensure a resilient and inclusive education system, it is essential to review existing Education in Emergencies (EiE), Disaster Risk Management (DRM), and Climate Change policies to identify gaps, alignment opportunities, and actionable recommendations for strengthening preparedness, response, and long-term resilience. The consultancy in collaboration with UNICEF aims to support the National Department of Education, subnational education authorities, education cluster and implementing partners and stakeholders through consultation to review the Education in Emergencies, Disaster Risk Management Policy and implementation guide.
