PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Lead the implementation of World Vision's Operations model in Nicaragua, aligned with the Global Strategy, local, national, and regional trends, consolidating the organization as a preferred partner in the country and the Central American sub-region, focused on the tender Protection of Childhood.

Main Responsibilities

  • Implement the WV operations model (delivery model) based on cost-effectiveness analysis and in accordance with national and global strategic institutional guidelines.
  • Comply with the sponsorship standards established by the organization.
  • Strategically lead and manage internal and external relationships with national, regional, global partners, donors, partners, support offices, as part of ongoing dialogue, organizational development, and accountability.
  • Promote actions towards sustainability and evidence of impact.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Humanities, or Social Sciences.
  • Master's degree in Social Project Management / Master's degree in Local Development Management / Master's degree in Program and Project Management / Social Policies / Human Rights / Children's Rights.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strategic and Future Vision.
  • Negotiation Skills.
  • Capacity for analysis and synthesis.
  • Ability to partner and influence decision-making that positively impacts children.
  • Effective relationships with different audiences.
  • Capacity for influence and persuasion.

Experience:

  • Five years of experience in similar positions.
  • Five years of experience in preparing proposals for development agencies.
  • Five years of Experience in emergency response, business continuity plans, and crisis management.
