Graphic Design Support for UNV Pacific Communications

The UNV Pacific team is looking for a creative and motivated Online Volunteer with graphic design skills to support the development of engaging visual content for its communication and outreach activities.

The Online Volunteer will work remotely with the communications team to transform key messages, stories and information into clear, visually appealing and audience-friendly graphics for social media and other digital platforms.

This is an Online Volunteer assignment and will be carried out fully virtually. The Online Volunteer will work closely with the designated UNV communications focal point and will receive relevant briefs, guidance and feedback throughout the assignment. The assignment provides an opportunity to contribute creative skills to UNV's communication and visibility efforts and to support the promotion of volunteerism and the impact of UN Volunteers.

Under the guidance of the UNV Communications Focal Point, the Online Volunteer will:

• Design social media graphics and visual content for UNV communication activities (10-20 graphics/infographics)
• Develop simple and engaging infographics to communicate key information, stories and results.
• Support the design of visuals for campaigns, events, awareness activities and special observances.
• Adapt graphics into different formats and sizes for platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
• Work with the communications team to develop visuals based on agreed briefs and key messages.
• Ensure designs are consistent with UNV branding and visual identity guidelines.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions where required and submit all products in agreed upon format.

The exact number and type of outputs may vary depending on the complexity of each product and will be agreed with the Online Volunteer based on the available content, briefs and timelines. All material will remain the intellectual property of UNV.

The Online Volunteer will receive clear briefs and feedback from the communications team and will be expected to submit editable design files where appropriate.
