UNICEF’s Office of Emergency Programmes (EMOPS) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join its Humanitarian Policy Section (HPS), Protection Team, as Humanitarian Policy Specialist – Children and Armed Conflict (CAAC), based in New York. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to UNICEF’s global work to protect children affected by armed conflict, helping to shape policy and advocacy and advance UNICEF’s engagement on the CAAC agenda. The role requires strong technical and strategic expertise, sound judgement, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and partners across UNICEF and the wider UN system.
