It is a permanent intergovernmental body established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1964. UNCTAD supports developing countries to access the benefits of a globalized economy more fairly and effectively. It provides economic and trade analysis, facilitates consensus-building and offer technical assistance to help developing countries use trade, investment, finance and technology for inclusive and sustainable development.

The UNCTAD Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) is an integrated customs management system for international trade and transport operations in a modern automated environment. ASYCUDA is a computerized customs management system that covers most foreign trade procedures. It handles manifests and customs declarations, along with accounting, transit and suspense procedures. • Develop and program specific modules and features for the Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) in Liberia

• Provide ASYCUDA information technology (IT) support to the Liberian Customs IT team as required

• Write technical documentation for ASYCUDA in Liberia
