Check the data received for completeness, accuracy and consistency, follow up with partners on gaps or errors, and keep a record of corrections made. Take part in field monitoring visits and spot checks to verify that reported activities and results match what is happening on the ground, and write short visit reports with findings and follow-up actions. Maintain a calendar of reporting requirements and deadlines for each donor, and flag upcoming submissions to the supervisor and project teams in good time. Draft monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports and donor reports in clear English, presenting results with simple tables, charts, maps and dashboards. Support surveys and assessments (for example baseline, endline, community perception and post-distribution surveys) by helping prepare questionnaires, train and guide enumerators, clean and analyse the data, and draft survey reports. Support the preparation of project evaluations and reviews, including collecting background documents and data for evaluators, reviewing draft reports for accuracy, and tracking whether agreed recommendations are acted on. Collect case studies, success stories and photographs from the field, with consent, to illustrate the results of UNDP's work. Record lessons learned, risks and challenges encountered during implementation, and share them with project teams so activities can be adjusted. Coach state teams, monitoring focal points and partner staff on how to use the data collection tools, mobile data collection forms and reporting templates. Make sure data collected is broken down by sex, age and location, and that monitoring is carried out safely and sensitively in conflict-affected communities. Perform any other related duties as required.
