SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES GHANA is a child welfare organization that provides a stable Family-Like Care (FLC) for children in need. We also provide social services for families at risk through our Family Strengthening Projects. Currently, we operate in four locations; Tema, Asiakwa, Kumasi and Tamale with the National Office in Accra. Position:  Programme Administrative Assistant

Location: Asokore Mampong, Kumasi

 

We are seeking a highly organised, proatctive and professional Programme Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Programme Director.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Management, Secretarial Studies or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience as Programme Administrative Assistant, Personal Assistant or Office Assistant
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise competing demands and work independently.
  • Professional appearance, attitude and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and paying attention to details.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare meeting agenda, minutes, presentations, reports and other document for the Programme Director
  • Manage the Programme Director’s calendar, appointments. Meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Handle emails, correspondence, phone calls and other communications professionally and confidentially.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings and follow ups.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records and filing systems.
  • Support Porgramme Director in monitoring deadlines, projects and important deliverables.
  • Perform other administrative and coordinator
