Job Description

  1. Cash Management & Bank Reconciliation
    • Learn how to maintain and reconcile daily cashbooks.

  2. Expenditure Review & Coding

  6. Financial Reporting Support
    • Learn how to compile data for project-level financial reports.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, or a related field.
  • Some prior exposure to finance or accounting through coursework, internship, or volunteer work, preferably with INGOs.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and basic accounting concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Team player with interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, travel occasionally, and adapt to different working environments.
  • Computer literacy and strong documentation skills.

Additional Information

Internship Engagement Terms

This is a learning placement for a period of 6 months, designed to build capacity and practical experience. While it does not constitute employment, the intern will gain valuable exposure to international NGO financial management practices and systems, with mentoring and supervision provided by the Country Finance Officer.
