Create a short awareness video for schools on preventing sexual violence

CAMAAY (Cameroon Association of Active Youths) is a nonprofit working on community development across Cameroon, in areas from agriculture and education to health, the environment, and youth programs. Our work runs on donations and grants. We run awareness activities in schools, and one recurring concern is sexual violence against children. This video will be shown by CAMAAY staff during in-person school visits this term and followed by a short talk. It contributes to the goals of ending violence against children and promoting gender equality.

The online volunteer will produce one short awareness video for use in schools, working entirely remotely and delivering the final file online. The video will be animated or illustration-based, with narration, carrying a clear message against sexual violence in language suited to a school audience. The volunteer will write the script, create the visuals or animation, and handle the editing. The finished video and its script are the deliverables.

The work is remote and flexible. We begin with a short video call to agree on tone, message, and style, then review the script and drafts by email and WhatsApp. We ask for a reply to messages within about a day or two. Because the video is needed for school visits at the end of October, the volunteer should be available for quick turnarounds. A CAMAAY coordinator will guide the volunteer and review drafts.
