Working under the guidance of the Senior Manager, the position ensures that grant budgets, expenditures, and financial reports are accurate, compliant, and aligned with both donor requirements and NI’s internal standards. ·       Set up and maintain grant budgets and forecasts within NI’s ERP and budgeting systems, ensuring updates reflect program and donor changes.

·       Monitor grant financial performance, analyzing budget-to-actual results, explaining variances, and providing inputs for financial decision-making.

·       Prepare and review donor financial reports for assigned grants, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with donor terms and conditions.

·       Support submission of forecasts, budget realignments, and close-out financial reports in collaboration with relevant program and regional teams.

·       Conduct periodic desk-based compliance reviews of project expenditures and contracts to ensure compliance with donor and NI policies.

·       Support donor audit preparation by compiling supporting documentation and coordinating with HQ, regional, and country finance teams.

·       Review and consolidate partner budgets and financial reports, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and internal controls.

·       Support process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in grant financial management.

·       Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of financial and compliance workflows, tools, and templates.
