The International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA) holds the role of Champion for the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation & Abuse and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH) within the Inter-agency Standing Committee (IASC) for 2026-2027. One priority for this Championship is to “Simplify, promote, and support uptake of existing tools, guidance, and mechanisms”. One area of need under this priority is the IASC library of inter-agency PSEAH documents, which includes guidance, tools, and templates in multiple languages. However, their current presentation on the IASC website is not user friendly, tags have not been universally applied, and some languages are missing. Additionally, these materials should be available on the site of the Safeguarding Resource Support Hub (RSH) but there is inconsistency between the two sites. Thus there is a need to review, identify gaps, revise, and improve and align these online libraries for the frontline humanitarian community.
The purpose of this online volunteer assignment is to support ICVA by conducting a structured review of the IASC materials and make necessary changes to improve user experience. Under the guidance of ICVA staff, the Online Volunteer will:
- Review the resources hosted on the IASC website
- Apply agreed criteria to assess each resource, including naming conventions and tagging - Identify IASC resources that should be removed or updated from the RSH site
- Support with upload of relevant documentation
- Provide a brief summary of key observations and recommendations at the end of the assignment.
The assignment is analytical and organisational in nature and does not require content rewriting or technical web development.
