Bank for International Settlements publishes its own salary scale. Effective July 2025, base pay runs from CHF 559,549 a year (Head of Department) to CHF 727,412 a year (General Manager). The BIS publishes salaries for senior officials only, before expatriation and other allowances; salaries are exempt from host-country income tax.
